A part of the MSTO Board made a information trip to the Bechyne Airfield in the CZ on Thursday and Friday 11/12 March to make contact with the organizers of Sprint Drags for Bikes in the past two years.

The organizer (Predators Bike Club Ev.) had contacted Jerry in 2009 and requested instructions for setting up a proper 1/4 mile drag strip as per DMSB regulations. The event that was ran in late 2009 was visited by several German Drag Racers and they all reported back that the Predators had in fact set up their Drag Strip to 80% in accordance with the DMSB regulations.

Jire Bambeger a CZ national living in Germany contacted and set up a meeting with Jerry and Rolf in February to discuss the possability of the MSTO conducting their 2010 T&T in Bechyne as it appears to 95% that there will no longer be Drag Race events at Luckau.

Rolf,Karl-Heinz, and Jerry were very much impressed with what they saw at the Bechyne Airport and Jerry believes that here is more potential for a perfect Drag Strip set up and the CZ military were very co operative to supporting the MSTO and the Predators clubs.

The MSTO will finalize contracts with the Predators Club this week and posting of entry forms with driver information will be posted on the MSTO.org.de Internet side soon.

Now it will be up to the European Drag Race drivers to determine if the Bechyne CZ Drag Strip will have a future or not. Full support by taking part in the T&T event will make the possablilty of a full scale international event in July a Yes or No. And with full support of all Drag Racers the CZ track will become a perminate Race Date on a yearly basis.
